Photography Found Footage

Cheap Imitation

Cheap Imitation is the outcome of the filmmakers questioning of authorship. Selecting found footage that reflects the structuring of Tiffany Higgin’s poem Medusa on Sansome and Pine (2013), the film explores the Kuleshov technique investigating the recyclability of pre-existing work as an entry point in creating new work.
