    7:30 pmThe Point, Eastleigh

Dip your toe into the work of The Point’s associates and @HOME artists and experience the whole building – from aerial and digital performance to film, breath-taking dance and Hand to Hand acrobatics.

A night not to forget - and all made in Eastleigh.

    The evening programme will include:

Grania Pickard/Oddly Moving – He Ain’t Heavy (excerpt)
In this very touching autobiographical story Grania Pickard tells the story of growing up with her disabled autistic brother Sean using physical theatre, aerial circus, audience interaction, storytelling and puppetry.

Katie Dale Everett - Virtual You
Katie Dale-Everett Dance presents sections from ‘Virtual You’ a work in progress combining shadow puppetry and audience driven plot changes, exploring scenarios & potential complications modern day teenagers could find themselves in when engaging with social media.

    Joli Vyann - Inhale/Exhale
Joli Vyann's new show explores breath. Five performers using athletic dance and Hand-to-Hand acrobatics will explore what role breath plays in our day to day lives. How it is linked to life itself and how it affects our bodies, physiology, emotions and health. Providing a line through life, starting with our first breath and finishing with our last.

Lila Dance – a part (film)
a part is a new dance film that showcases two of the UK’s most experienced disabled female dancers in a work that celebrates the art of wheelchair dancing. The intricate choreography with a backdrop of graffiti art is driven by the catchy rhythmic structures of an original score with a nod to female pop video icons such as Brittany and Beyoncé.
